Located just one block North and one block West of Downtown, First Baptist Church of Atwood is an easy 15 minute drive from Arthur, Garrett, Hammond, Ivesdale, Pierson, and Tuscola!

We worship at 10am every Sunday, and at 6pm on first and third Sundays! We have SS Classes for all ages at 9am. We offer AWANA Clubs for Kids on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00pm!

Our worship services feature a Bible-driven format of Scripture Reading, Prayer, Doctrinal Confession, Testimonies, a mix of excellent "Southern Gospel", "Traditional Hymns", and "Praise Chorus" singing; and verse-by-verse expositional preaching through the Books and doctrines of the Bible.

Most of our people dress "Business Casual" on Sunday mornings, and more casually at our other services. You'll see a few jackets and ties on Sunday Mornings... but not many!

First Baptist Church is a happy congregation of about 140 active members and friends. You will find us to be theologically conservative, very friendly, and excited to meet you!
